Close-up video images of objects and surfaces in Hill's studio are edited in time with the syllables of his speech as he recites an intimate monologue, a plea addressed to "you." The rhythm of his spoken words drives the images of interior space, imposing and manipulating a relationship that appears automatic as speech seems to push the images on, accross and off the screen.
